I had to repair the cable for the underwater exhaust control on my 1928 A-35. Ever since I have had the motor I have not been sure the control lever is mounted in the correct position. It has been on the port side of the steering rail back of the tiller handle, seems awkward! Would anybody have an A motor with this exhaust that may be able to post a picture as to the correct location of the control lever?
