I just picked up a Flying D and the rear seat is gone and the front have some old plywood backs. Wondering how the rear seats attached and what the correct pattern looks like so I can have some cushions made. Any pictures/measurements etc would be helpful.

You might take a look at FiberGlasiks website to see what they looked like. They usually have some pretty good original pics. That boat with a Golden Javelin to boot? Nice find! I have an Alumacraft FDR, same hull and deck, but laid out a little different on the inside. Those are just great boats!

Nice boat! I used to have one, and the rear seat has small aluminum brackets. I had new seats made, using originals as patterns. I still have the seats, and the brackets, and they have never been installed or sat on. Red and white vinyl. If you have any interest, please PM me, or email @ hsmith1986@gmail.com.

I will second that! I love those Golden Javelin’s, they are great looking motors.
