      I ordered a NOS brass ring #303278 for my Skitwin.It has an oval hole in it and mine does not.Could not get all 4 holes to line up no mater how I tried.Part # is not different for this part so I figured no issue with the NOS one.I ended up elongating one hole to get last bolt in.No reason to suspect it will cause issue.Armature rotates and is positioned fine.

        Why did you replace the original brass ring? In any event, I agree, elongating the hole is just fine, ring orientation is not an issue….
