I have an Arrow air cooled outboard. Serial number 690570. Can anyone help with narrowing down the horse power?
Thanks.
May 5, 2021 at 10:13 am #237762Is there no Model number anywhere?
Here’s a listing of models and a little bit about the company that made them.

Posting a picture would help.
May 5, 2021 at 10:41 am #237767I only have the power head and recoil and the transom mounting part. I can’t see a model number. I checked discount parts sight and didn’t find anything there. I’ve attached an image of the power head. Its not a great picture. Is there anyway from the power head I can tell the HP?

From the picture I wonder if that is a tecumseh powerhead? Tecumseh made powerheads and sold them to various outboard manufacturers. If so; then you can look over the powerhead and maybe you will find a Tecumseh model number. Then you can look that up and see the HP. Look for numbers punched into the blower housing or for a small tag mounted on the engine somewhere,

May 15, 2021 at 11:10 am #238417So everything has petered out. The only other number I can find is on the flywheel…610751. And that only comes up as a part number. There has to be a way to find the HP of this motor.

If you can measure bore and stroke and find “specs”, then you’ll know horse power.
Prepare to be boarded!
