I need to replace some fuel line in my 1960 Evinrude Fisherman 5.5 HP. It appears to be 1/4” id, and I need about 40” total, and I wonder is automotive fuel hose good enough?

I’ve used automotive fuel line from autozone and or oreillys on many motors, and years later all are still just fine with no issues.

The motor does not care if it uses automotive fuel line to sip its juice……

Also consider outer diameter so you can reuse the factory non-screw type hose clamps.
