      What’s the best way to go in repairing/replacing a fuel pump for a 58 Evinrude big Twin? Seems like the repair kit is more expensive than a new pump, if I remember correctly.

        That is not the original pump. Besides, I don’t think there is a kit for the one you have. But no matter, as you suggest, there are Chineesium pumps out there now at cheap price.. I have no idea what their quality is.

            I took it apart again to look at the pieces. I see what you mean. I’ll give that a try, thanks!
