Having the modern equipment and skill’s to use it keeps these historic machines in operation. However there is none of that in The Boat House. Tubs

November 28, 2024 at 12:44 pm #292312Man I can relate to that video! I have a thumb that is slowly growing back it’s nail to prove it! If we could just figure out a way to hold things we want to grind on, we would have a much better outcome.
happy turkey day!

I’m envious of you, and others, that have the tools, and the skills, to do stuff like this the right way. Tubs

The lights are a recent addition. The hobby fills much of my day. Taking pictures or videos, editing all that stuff, making a video, or providing images in response to a question, is often several times what I spend on a motor. The hobby parallels interest I’ve had in the past without being as physical. There is a sense of worth that we get from helping someone, often learn something, and we get to show off a little. What I contribute is relative small compared to what I get out of participating here. Tubs

I clamped one drill to the bench so I only had to control the speed on it. No injuries this time Dale. Still things didn’t go as smoothly as demonstrated in the video. Some of what was edited— https://youtu.be/Q9afxuVZiEM — Tubs
