Hello all, I have a 1968 Forty Plus with a Wipac ignition. Where is the condenser?……not like the OMC ignition plate with everything out in the open! Also, they call for a D16 Champion which I don’t have new but I do have a new D14….will that work?

Condenser is bult into the coil.  Should be ok with the D-14.

Thanks for that info……..can you check the condenser some how, and how does the D14 differ from the D16?

If I were a gambling man, I’d lay odds that the condenser is fine.  One thing that impresses me about those motors is the damn things always run.  Drop it overboard, fish it out, drain the water out, maybe a couple of shots of WD-40 and it just keeps going.

D-14 is a bit cooler plug.
