OK, well the Johnson is a 1967 model, the Evinrude is from 1964.
Value can be tricky to pin down….
First, it depends on whether they are fresh or salt water used…
Next, better cosmetic condition will bring a little more. Only the most perfect/low hour engines will bring more. Are the tanks dented? Look inside the tanks for rust or fouled fuel build up. Basic mechanical condition, such as compression and gear lube condition are important. Bent, or broken castings (gearcase hsg) will detract from value.
Most of these engines that have been sitting will require a good bit of work to become “reliable daily runners”, such as ignition, fuel, and gearcase/water pump servicing.
Finally, don’t go by the silly advertised prices you see on Ebay/CL, you are very unlikely to get such high prices.
So, I will just guess that you might be able to get $50-100 apiece for the engines. Feel free to post pictures so we can have a better look….
