Puppy training pads are about 2×2 feet square , absorbent one side , offer a white high contrast surface to quickly find small parts and most important plastic coated on the other side thus leak/stain proof for the work area sometimes called aka "kitchen table" 😮
they can also catch oil drips under a leaky gearcase when the tomato will miss a few 🙂
the pads are cheap and available at Dollar stores .
