      the kit I used are made in china the seat made in china will not screw in my carb.is there a oem marine part # I can use.

        OEM Carb kit is 0439071 OEM float valve needle & seat is 0387262

          Those Chinese carb kits are known to have the incorrect thread for the float valve seat. I have looked over one of those kits and I will not use them. As long as they are available I use only OEM carburetor and tune up kits in my OMC motors.

            Someone on the sight suggested running a 5/16 NF 24 over the threads a while ago. I tried it .It worked.
