Is there a way to check the status of a post with attachments? I understand they need to go through some sort of moderator review and approval.
I have a post that I realized the original attachment was too large and as such did not post with it, so I edited it and added a small enough attachment and now the post is gone.
When I look in my profile under posts started it doesn’t list that post. Is there a way to check the status?
Regards,
Jeff

I am the guy that does the approving, but only when necessary as most posts just go thru without my input.
I have yet to understand why some get held back as I see no obvious pattern. As for your post, I see nothing waiting to be approved, so not sure what happened to yours.
If you care to resubmit, I will keep an eye out for it.
Respectfully

1973 Johnson 6 HPJune 27, 2026 at 11:25 pm #323122The forum now has an 8MB size limit which is pretty large for still images. I am not sure that the image size had much if anything to do with the post being rejected.
It was caught by the site’s spam filter. I have looked at it and I did not see any issue and remain puzzled as to why it did not appear after the moderator process.
Please try again and sorry for the frustration.
