I am rebuilding a 1947 Champion blue ribbon 2J outboard. For obvious reasons, most of the gaskets have deteriorated to nothing. Any recommendations on where I could get a set of gaskets?

        Welcome Joseph,

A set would be awesome, but realistically, head to NAPA and buy the proper thickness material and make your own. It is easier than you think and many of us already do that. Buy a protractor with a pencil and that is used to make circles.. A good pair of scissors, some various sized hole punches for clearance holes and Bob’s yer uncle!

          You could check johnfolke
on Ebay. He makes nice gaskets.

          Prepare to be boarded!
