      Has anyone had experience with the China-made fuel pumps off of ebay. I need to replace my OMC 0388685 off of a 67 18 Evinrude. A OEM is $90-$110 where the China made ones are ALOT more reasonably priced. If i had confidence in the motor being a runner i wouldnt mind the original. Just asking.

        2 or 3 installed and no complaints last one was for a 9.5hp I sold last year and owner is pleased…so far

        my last pump was $ 13.99 CDN came in this a.m.

        some folks have complained the diaphragms burnt out from ethanol but ….so far not mine

          It’s a gamble for sure….The prices are so cheap it is worth the gamble I guess….Provided you are gambling with your own engine….

            I’ve had several come thru my shop. I had to replace them all with OMC…. bad diaphragms and leaks. You can by NOS OMC fuel pumps cheap on Ebay. I’m not afraid of using the old ones, never had any trouble.
