Hi Guys! The calendar season is winding down but there is no shortage of outboard work! I have a (1980-1985??) Chrysler 3.5 HP. If I type in the #’s (32R3G – 1384) it comes up: "serial number not found". It also links up with Mercury on Marine Engine.com. Ma Mopar should have stuck to cars and not outboards or snowmobiles! Any Help out there? Looking for a flywheel. Thanks, George 856-447-3641

I’ll buy 32H3 – that translates to ’83. One of my aftermarket manuals lump the 3.5 (’80-’84) in with the 4-hp ’77-84, so I suspect they share some common parts..

The 3.5 and 4 hp are the same except:
            4 hp has forward-neutral shift
4 hp has a plastic shroud over the gas tank

bore and stroke are the same. (there may be a minor carb or reed difference to change the hp)
