      Another example of why it is so important to flush a motor after being used in salt water!

        Yes, agree – have to do it after every outing here (and wash the boat down). Few freshwater lakes on our side of the pond, and onerous speed limits on all the large ones. Particularly the nanny state that is Lake Windermere (10 miles per hour).
