A friend in our boat club was given a bronze 3 blade Columbian prop for his ’60 Johnson 40hp. The hub was longer and thinner than the standard big twin / 40 versions and didn’t fit. I thought it might have been an early V4 prop, but wondered if anyone here can indentify please. The markings around the hub are Columbian_F_L6DB.

Columbian had a catalog of outdrive and outboard propellers, but I would not know where to find one. Maybe Michigan Wheel could cross-reference it.

So it sounds like early V4 prop is right on.

Thanks for that, at least he can give it away, knowing what it is now & hope he can find a good home for it.
