      OK, I ordered 5 of each type from Newark Electronics.  Cost $30 total but that includes flat rate shipping of $10.

        I purchased some Vishay condensers as mentioned in Mr Mohats article.  I put some in old cases I cleaned out. They are higher than the cases, so I extended the cases and filled them with epoxy. Then I just attached connectors to the bare condensers and they fit nicely without a case (see pic on an old mag plate). Haven’t tried them yet but will soon. IMG_20220609_100016

          🙂  I am going to try the capacitors bare also, without even adding the connectors, just using the existing wires.

            looks fine…  the base wire (ground)  could be just soldered to the casing bottom in the small indentations ….

            I am trying 630v caps next time I do a mag      530v’s    are cheaper  and  I believe (hopefully)  still capable of tolerating  magneto counter EMF from the coil.

            time will tell  🙂
