I just killed off this vintage 1963 arkansas traveler.. .. harvested the parts and trailer ..

Did i make a mistake? Only afterwards did i realize how big this arkansas traveler name was..

(Although a tree did fall on it and crack one side good…

IF the transom and floor/stringers were good the it would have been fixable. to me.

I guess I would look at it and say how much is it going to cost me to get this boat seaworthy and safe again, from the people that I know who had floor and transom repaired you are looking at roughly $4,000.00. You have to ask yourself, is it worth that kind of money. I’m sure you can find another boat similar to that at a reasonable price. Next time around try to park boat away from trees if at all possible.
              My two cents worth.
