Hi folks,
I’m restoring a 1961 Evinrude Lark III 40 hp and am looking for some detailed color images of what this engine looked like from the factory. Factory photos would be nice but more modern photos of a totally original example would be fine also. I’m trying to find out if the starter motor was originally black or if it was painted the same color as the rest of the engine. Also trying to figure out if the auto choke attached to the carburetor was originally painted and if so what color. I’m new here so please forgive me if this topic has already been covered on here somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
