Different holes in diaphargm gasket

New on left original on right, note the difference in the size of the two smaller round holes.  This is where the disc valve is located.  With the original, the disc valve is able to pass through the diaphragm, no so with the replacement.   Is this necessary, so that I have to enlarge the hole?  This is for an OMC pressure tank with the black plastic primer button.

That looks to me like a homemade diaphragm someone tried to pass off as new or original. You see a lot of those on ebay. They seem to have messed up on the size and alignment of the sight glass hole and the disc hole.

is the right side  (or left)  gasket flipped over  ?    because aside from hole sizes  they look  very similar

shouldn’t be to hard to make one from gasket material or nitrile sheets

You can still use the new one. Flip the old one over on the new and draw a line where it needs to be enlarged on the curve and use the right size punch to make it work.

OK, am confused.   Other than one diaphragm being flipped over, what is the difference between the two?

OK, so the two pictures are the same diaphragm?  Just flipped over?

Don, Yes, I just used my graphics program to cut and flip the picture of the old one and overlaid it over the new one to give an example of what he could do to enlarge the hole and make the new one work.
