      Not by any means to find fault, but I thought the proper way to adjust point gap was to alter, by adding or taking away the shims on the contact screw side?? Trying to remember where I read that….

        Brought the motor home today. I got it for a little less than the $400. The guy also gave me an Evinrude PO , serial number 375085.

                    Old repair to a cracked water jacket. Don’t sand it down. If it didn’t leak it probably fine.
