      OK guys, I’m going to have to fes up after these latest part numbers. Never go by whether something looks like it won’t fit without trying first. After I realized I had the right starter, even though it looked too big, I tried it and it fit. I feel a little foolish but there is a lesson here and I figured I should share….Thanks again for everyone’s efforts.Now I’m going to the next step and putting it together and seeing what I have to work with.

        I used 2 or 3 parts parts from the 6 volt starter and modified 2 parts to allow it to bolt up..

        I would tell you the exact name of each part, except I do not know what they actually called.

        I will give their correct names and from where each came from in the article.

        With pictures and detailed instructions.

        When I get time….lol
