      i just bought a elto pal model 4266 serial50563 run very good something funny about it is the starter plate have 3 place to put the rope???? all the model i saw on internet have only 2 place on the plate

        You’re right. Not as common as the two slotted sheaves but I did find another one on an auction motor while doing a 4266 search. It might have been a Canadian option.

                The Canadian Cubs were model 4264. The three slot rope sheave is very rare. Only used on one of the last production runs.

                  it is funny how it happen i have a 27 foot sailboat an i was searching for a small rigid dingy i found one very light and searching for a motor i end up with 2 neptune and a Elto pal and spare parts .
