I have an Elto Sportster and I was wondering what needs to be put in the gearcase. The plate on the motor says Mobilgrease Outboard or Evinrude Gear Grease. Does anyone know if these products are still made or what I can substitute for them? Thanks

I would assume those products are no longer available.
The year and/or model number of your sportster might help.
Considering the information you provided, I would say you need John Deere Corn Head grease, or as a substitute, Lubriplate #105. These products are used in lower ends with brass bushings instead of bearings, and/or cork seals instead of modern rubber seals.
