      hey guys . need some advice on a 4423 evinrude 3.3 hp . has anyone split apart the fuel tank . i have a leak at the seam . inside on tank has some peeing green paint . not sure about the coating . i have a repair kit for the fuel gauge at the front . thats not the leak .

        I’ve split both the 4423 and 4425 tanks to get inside them and used Permatex anaerobic gasket maker or flange sealant to seal them up.  Neither tank leaks at the seam and this was done quite a few years ago now.
