Your 1924 model is virtually unchanged from the 1914 Row Boat Motor Mr. Evinrude built when he sold out to Chris Meyer s. At that time competition and innovation were sapping sales and only 2000 Row Boat Motors were built. Evinrude had introduced two larger twins and had a total total sales of 6000 outboards, but were out sold by newcomers Elto and Johnson. They were carried in the catalog for four more years. By that time yearly sales were only a hundred or so of that model. During the depression many were sold to junk dealers by the pound to raise money. My 1940 trade in book lists them at five dollars. Peter Hunn’s “The Old Outboard Book” however lists them at between $65 and $300, depending on condition.
