That is my problem I have no books or part numbers on this motor (7.5 special) Do you have any parts listings I could get numbers from? so I didn’t respond earlier not a computer guy. Thanks

Some of the pictures I’ve seen of Firestone outboards show a plate with model and serial numbers located between the transom clamp bolts. Do you see one there or anywhere else on the motor? Without this information or some pictures, it will be next to impossible to help I’m afraid.

fleetwin, I found a parts place in mich. that can sell me parts and manuals.i don,t know much about computers and found aomci and joined it and couldn’t figure out how to e-mail and I found the face book part…I found a place called discount marine parts and a phone number.please bare with me and hope to use you later if needed

kirk p….I am getting close too parts and manuals I found a place in mich..discount marine parts..i will call them mon…my motor numbers are stock#10-a-131,serial #1058..423-0-72002…built in barrie Ontario…thank you
