      Hi folks
      I’ve had this engine for a while but have never known what make it is .Richard Paquette at the Viking page suggests it may be a late Thor made buy Kiekhaefer.Your thoughts please!

        No. Looks like a Scott Atwater built Firestone, 3.6hp, late 1940s.

          Agreed, a 1946 Firestone model 462, but 3.5hp

              Those early Scot-Atwaters were some of the best trolling motors ever made. It will putt-putt slow idle all day long. On the bad side, the ’46 had that Champion lower unit that wore out prop shaft bearings.

              Value? Not much. There are lots of them around.
