I’ve been working hard to restore a 1957 Evinrude Big Twin 35 HP. Model 25028. Unfortunately, the pinion gear and bearings were pretty well corroded and seized. I’ve done my best to restore them to service by soaking in PB blaster to get the rollers free from the bearing race, and subsequent electrolysis treatments have cleaned these parts up pretty well, but I’d rather not have to use them if a better used, or NOS pinion bearing was available. Who’s hoarding these bearings? Thanks in advance for any advice.

There should be plenty around, they were used for years. . . 😀
