      Just bought this motor – started on third pull – problem it did not pump pump water –
      Where does it come out?
      Also need guidance on what to do. Take off lower unit?

        Well first off, it will never "pump" water as that particular motor, I believe, uses the vacuum/pressure type cooling system. Motor almost has to be moving in water for it to get water into the system.

          Richard is correct, no pump on the A-50. It won’t pump water in a tank it need forward thrust to get the water flowing thru the motor. Once it’s flowing on a moving boat with the vacu siphon system you can slow down and it will still pump the water thru. Started right up, sounds like you got a good one.
