      I got a new coil, old stock used, I took the ignition coil heel assemblys off my old coil and put them on the new coil I received and installed it on the armature plate. I put the flywheel on and it won’t turn a full turn around. It seems that the magnets are hitting the ignition coil heels. There is no ajustment and they screw directly into the armature plate. Any suggestions

        I use a marker to “color” the heels,then file the spots where the marker gets rubbed off of the heels

            Thanks, I did tap them in with a hammer, I guess I have to file now. I appreciate all the help here.
