Yup! I had 2 RDs I couldn’t bust loose with a conventional puller. The OMC took them off without much trouble. Use of an impact wrench has been mentioned – I use an air-impact wrench made for taking lug nuts off of wheels on cars – works great and you don’t have to hold or otherwise lock the flywheel from turning when you use the impact wrench.
