      I have a 1985 johnson 2 hp that I am unable to find the points gap specs for. Any help would be great.

        .020" gap on the points while on the highest point of the cam….If the points are brand new, you may want to set them to .022" gap to compensate for initial rubbing block wear…

          Ok. Good compression but points are burned. Going to have to find new points and a condensor.
