Johnson model J carb float height

Does anyone have any information on the Johnson model J carb float height? This one is on a 1936 model 100.

If there’s not notches on the float pin that fix the cork in place,
then I guess I’d just adjust the float on the pin so it has about
a 1/4″ of travel and doesn’t hit the top cover.
Had mine apart, but can’t remember more than that!

I found another needle that has a groove so all is good.
