Recently got a PO. Strange enough, my flywheel and block casting follow the same serial number, but the rope sheave is marked POLR-15. Thinking it was a later converted military use engine. Serial #468281.
I will be running this motor on a boat with remote steering and throttle control. Does anyone have any ideas for a remote timing lever? I know how I can hook up the mag lever, and am in process of making the parts, but I’m unsure of a good solution up in the cockpit for a remote advance.
Any advice would be great.
