What kind of impeller does this motor use?

The S-45 doesn’t have an impeller. Water is forced up to the powerhead by a scoop in back of the prop, and the return is pulled out at a port in front of the prop. The water tubes need to be sealed for this system to work.

          Thanks
I thought it might be something like that. I bought it as part of a 3 motor deal 10-12 years ago and It has been sitting on the rack since. Recently started to weed things out and see what would run and what was going to be parts. Turns out this one is a runner.

My S-45 is one of the few larger motors I regret letting go; it was a lot of fun to run. But it was very difficult to move around alone without losing fingers. I hope you enjoy yours!

Near as I can tell it is complete except for the cover over the carb intake. I wanted to restore it but the time just isn’t there so it is one that will have to go.

Late 20’s early 30’s open flywheel. My favorite motors. Where are you located
