      By definition, dielectric means non-conductive, basically an insulator.

      "Fox News" isn't.

        As stated, dielectric grease is non-conductive. It works well because corrosion is accelerated by the presence of water and electrical current. The dielectric grease seals out water and prevents electrical current leakage away from its intended path.
