      This is an odd looking little boat on Facebook Marketplace. “Why” the angle in gunwall?

        My guess it that it’s due to the flotation chambers that run along the entire length of the boat on both the port and starboard sides. Without this raised portion in the gunwales, it would have very little open space due to the flotation chambers.. Additionally, there’s a photo on the internet of a King Fisher with a console (looks removable) that fit at the “angle” in the gunwales.

          Well at least one wont go down with the ship in this boat, with those flotation chambers!

            Also maybe higher bow area to deflect larger waves?
