Gotta love that damage to the prop beside the remote. That from cavitation?

Very nice! All those old parts are only junk if you throw them away!!

I’ve collected bits and peices of Johnson J-75 and Model 100 for years. Over the past 3 weekends, I’ve assembled and got 6 to run. #7’s waiting for a way to attach it to the Roomba so I can use it as a self-propelled tool caddy. Whatcha gonna do with the J muffler in the box ? 🙂

Some day, before I die, I am going to make a floor lamp from a Mark 25. Like you, Tubs, I don’t throw much away. I have a Mark 25 drive shaft housing that has the casting for water tube retention snapped off. Totally useless part, EXCEPT for a floor lamp….Also, with no pistons, crank, gear set, etc. it would be the first Mark 25 ever that was easy to pick up.

                  Long live American manufacturing!

you could use the tiller handle for the switch.

Mag advance lever would make a neat switch, but perhaps more of a pain
than rigging up the prop switch!
