I’m hoping to put together a Mark 25 out of components from my parts pile.  Is there a way to identify the 18hp vs. 20hp powerhead?

Carburet0rs:  Looks like there were two different Tillotson carbs used on the Mark 25’s.  AJ47A on the 1955 18hp and AJ50A on the 56-58 2ohp.  They look identical to me, except for the fuel strainer.  Would either carb work on either powerhead?

Is there a serial number on the powerhead?  I know it’s usually on the plate on the transom clamp but these heads are long separated from their shoulders.
