Are you referring to the vintage style rope/cable type steering that mounted to the carry-handle bracket of the outboard? OMC style?

          Try OMC P/N: 305839, 377440, 305816, 380306, 311467, 123703, and 173730.

Not sure what they were called other than Steering Cable Bracket?

              Evinrude calls it a Pulley anchor – I called it a steering bracket . . . 😆
