Merc KG4 & KF7 block fillers

Hi Folk’s,
Back again and this time does anyone know if the same size block filler will fit both the KG4 and KF7 blocks? I have never made an aluminum cast before but am retired and have more time than money. Just a lead on sand to use etc would be a big help if no one has any filler blocks just holding a door open some where Ha.

Different blocks. The KG4s used a die cast block, while the KF7 may/or may not have used a sand cast block. Depends on the filler block, too, as some were made for the Quincy exhaust, while others were made to go with the toilet bowl Mark 20H exhaust.

KG4 block does look like a very clean casting. I have not opened up the KF7 yet.
