Finally got my hands on a Merc O Tronic. For the experts what are you using to replace the 7.5v battery. Should I just put say 6 d cells in a series?
I am going to rewire the leads, anything I should watch for in the guts that tend to fail? If so what are you replacing the with?

Which model Merc-O-Tronic?
