      I have a 51′ KG-7 that I restored for my 11′ Blue Streak Utility.

Wondering about the lower unit cone, as well as whether or not this motor is a “Q” or a “H” tower.

Also looking for a couple spare impellers, as I also have a KF-7.

If anyone has any knowledge on this stuff, please let me know.

You have  a Q tower.  The cone needs grease.  Left hand thread to remove.  Brian Wilcox or John McIntosh should have impellers. They  are on the site.

How often should I grease the cone? I plan on using it not just for racing, but mostly as a day to day runabout. I was thinking of changing the grease daily, in the morning before I go out.
