      I just acquired a powerhead with the serial number 1313093 on it. I believe it is a 44 cubic inch 45 HP motor from around the year 1960. can anyone pin the year down for me?

        That serial comes out a 1960 Merc 400 45hp. Check it out at http://www.oldmercs.com
