Mercury with Kiekhaefer name

Guy has a old green top Mercury with Kiekhaefer on side bands not Mercury, any idea about year. He only had a picture and didn’t know numbers.
Wish I had it, he showed it to me on his phone. Said it was in his father barn that past away. lower unit were buried in the ground, one Sea King and the Mercury. He seen a KE4 I have and showed me the picture. I can’t remember which ones had the name like that. both turn over. Seems I seen Mercurys like that when my Uncle raced when I was a kid.
If it was a green tank merc the KG7 would have had hurricane wins added. a KF7 had wings added, I think were Kiekhaefer. KH7 were cruiser.
