      Over the weekend I bought several motors and in the lot is a Sears 9.9 hp. It has no hood or prop.
      All of my motors are 40’s and 50’s OMC so this Sears motor is strange to me.
      The model number is 225.587991 S/N 1495. I think this is a Force manufactured motor and may be a 1994?????
      Can someone steer me to a p/n for the 3 bladed prop? and maybe a source for the prop???
      The motor is surely not a keeper for me but I may get it running and donate it to the Boy scouts or some charitable organization.

        I’ll buy a 58199, which puts it ’88- ’95 (and maybe newer, my book only goes that far). Michigan says the std replacement prop is FP-408 8 1/8 X 8 1/4. Or FP 472, 8 X 9. Check your local Merc dealer, or various online sources…
