      My 1957 Lark (basically the same motor) ran about 120psi on both cylinders.

        Yes…low pressure numbers.

        The rings may be a little sticky and/or the cylinders may be very dry.

        I’d lube up the cylinders a tad with fogging oil as you mentioned.

        If you can get it to run, those compression numbers are likely to go up.

        Also, it’s a possibility the compression relief valves are not fully seated and the PO removed the lever to remedy…but without success????

            80 psi IS way too low for that motor. Should be about 125 as I recall. Compression relief valves may be stuck open or leaking ?
