Mystery Japanese Clinton 14HP

Anyone seen one of these Japanese built Clinton W140 engines? Marketplace find, can’t find any mention of it on google. Believe it is 14HP, tohatsu built. It’s pretty strong 14 but lacking refinement compared to an American motor. No timing advance mechanism, poorly carbureted (fixed jets), it uses a round slide motorcycle carburetor. Pumps water luckily so I should be able to measure up the impeller and find a suitable replacement, or one close enough to modify. Cool little motor though, beats the heck out of an air cooled single!

Google AI says there was also a W250 25hp Clinton but again I don’t see any reference to it online.
